Chas Rooms

Room booking system developed in a team to manage availability and reservations.

Situation:

At my college, students lacked an efficient way to check availability and reserve limited study rooms, leading to conflicts and underutilization.

Task:

As part of a Chas Academy hackathon, our team (two frontend and two .NET developers) set out to build an MVP web application that enables students to book rooms and track their availability in real time.

Action:

On the frontend, I integrated a custom backend API built with .NET and Aspire into a React application, ensuring smooth data flow for booking and availability features.

Result:

I gained hands-on experience working in a cross-functional team, collaborating across different technology stacks, and adapting quickly to a fast-paced development environment.
